Thanks to the invitation from my fellows at FilmPolska, I had a pleasure to spent an intensive week in Cracow and surroundings working on film and timelapse shots for the new Museum that will be opened in September underneath the Cracow market square.
Thanks to the invitation from my fellows at FilmPolska, I had a pleasure to spent an intensive week in Cracow and surroundings working on film and timelapse shots for the new Museum that will be opened in September underneath the Cracow market square. Despite I was hired as timelapse expert, there was a lot opportunities to shoot reel as well.
It’s worth it to mention just a few locations: first, we burnt down the cottage (illustration of Tatars riding Poland in 17th-18th century), through a great night of timelapsing at the very top of the Mariacki Church tower, 60 meters above the Cracow market square, to the Salt Mine in Wieliczka 150m under the level of the ground and finally – spending a night on timlapsing the Monastery in Tyniec. What a week!
Enjoy a few stills from the actual timelapses:

Day to night pan/tilt timelapse of a monastery in Tyniec
And a few behind the scenes shots that I took using my iPhone:
The timelapses are being processed, so stay tuned for the updates.
Some really nice exposures of the salt mines there, I’d imagine you have some good photos of some peculiar looking dwarf statues too
Thanks, Actually we didn’t have much more time there and I don’t have all the footage shot there. Besides the panorama we also did some detailed dolly shots right there and some cute reflections with the water in the other room.
